Recognizes outstanding projects at both Commercial Service and General Aviation airports that have made a significant impact on Georgia aviation. Eligible projects may demonstrate improvements in airport capacity or safety, innovative solutions that can benefit airports across the state, exceptional resourcefulness in overcoming challenges, or a combination of these accomplishments.

Criteria to qualify for the award:

• Project must have been completed in the previous 18 months.

• Project should demonstrate it was completed to the satisfaction of the Airport Owner/Sponsor:

1. on-time according to contract schedule
2. constructed within established budget
3. quality of work product meets industry standard or better, and
4. project management was conducted properly throughout the project duration including closeout.

• All submissions due August 31, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

• The GAA Board of Directors shall have final approval.
